There is nowhere else quite like Naramata and the surrounding Naramata Bench.
A deep moody lake and rugged mountains provide a dramatic backdrop to the patchwork of rolling hills and vineyards of the Naramata Bench, a wine region hosting more than 40 distinctive boutique wineries.
Sloping towards the lake, vineyards and orchards muddle together on the thin strip of arable land between mountains and water. A scenic road winds through it all, eventually leading to Naramata, a small community resting on the edge of Okanagan Lake.
The Naramata Bench is best known for vineyards and the resulting wine, but there’s so much more to do and see here!
From active pursuits like walking through historical tunnels and biking in the mountains to more leisurely activities like shopping for fresh produce at Naramata’s Community Market and enjoying a meal overlooking Okanagan Lake.
