A welcoming place just off the main drag of Naramata Road, Howling Bluff may not have a wide selection of wines but each is distinctively theirs. And as they say, quality over quantity!
The Pinot Noir is consistently a favourite with wine critics and enthusiasts, winning Lieutenant Governor Award for Excellence in BC Wine a number of times. Needless to say, if you have Pinot Noir fans in your group, Howling Bluff is a must stop.
Owner and winemaker Luke was previously an investment banker in Vancouver and his family pitch in everywhere from vineyard work to running the tasting room. This results in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with very little pretension.
Tastings are held on the brand new multi-level patio, which offers beautiful (yet unusual!) canyon and vineyard views, with a hint of lake peeking through.
