Lock & Worth Winery

Lock & Winery maintains a purist approach to winemaking, focusing on single vineyard wines that are unrefined and unfiltered. A ‘hands-off’ approach is utilised.

Less than 1000 cases of Lock & Worth wines are produced each year. Think high-quality terroir-driven wines made simply, bottled in a straightforward way and priced reasonably. The winery states that their wines are not for everyone and I like their honesty!

Staying with the simplicity theme, the collection of wines is small and succinct. Think Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Kerner, Rosé and Merlot (plus blends).

Sharing a tasting room with Poplar Grove Cheese, the paired tastings of wine and cheese provide the tastiest tasting experience on the Naramata Bench.

Cheese, crackers and wine by the bottle are available to purchase and consume on the picnic tables outside. Combined with beautiful views of vineyards and Okanagan Lake, this is a wonderfully peaceful place to stop for a laid-back winery lunch.
